About the Speaker
James D. Ratley
In 2006, Mr. Ratley was named President of the ACFE, and in 2011, he was also named CEO. Mr. Ratley works to promote the ACFE to the public and other professional organizations and continues to assist in the development of anti-fraud products and services to meet the needs of the ACFE's members. In addition to his executive duties, Mr. Ratley serves as a member of the ACFE's faculty, and teaches regularly at workshops and conferences on a variety of fraud-related subjects. Mr. Ratley has been certified as a Master Peace Officer by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Education. He is a member of the Austin Chapter of the ACFE.

From MoPac and Lake Austin Blvd, go west on Lake Austin Blvd, drive 1.6 miles. Abel's will be on your left in the Oyster Landing Marina. Parking is available both in Oyster Landing and up the hill on the right.

This is also a community service event. We will be donating food to the Capital Area Food Bank. We suggest that everyone who attends bring two items of canned food that will be donated.

Registration is required so that we can have an accurate head-count for food. Registration will end earlier than usual for this event, so please register early!

The Austin Area Chapter of The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.learningmarket.org
Cancellation Policy and No Shows
If you have registered and/or paid for an event and you need to cancel, you MUST email firstname.lastname@example.org no later than January 29th at noon, to request a refund and/or cancel your registration. The Chapter must confirm event registrations with the venue within 7 days of the event and any changes after this time period can become a financial cost to the Chapter. Cancellations received later than January 29th at noon will not be refunded except for exigent circumstances.
In the event an attendee does not show up to the event, the registration cost will be forfeited. If payment at the door was the selected method, then the attendee will be billed for the full cost of the event. The Chapter reserves the right to bar for future registration any attendees who routinely register and fail to pay and/or attend the event.
