Program Description: Hackers go after users, not security professionals. This presentation will focus on how individual users of web sites, credit cards, and other cyber touchpoints are victimized and how to implement effective countermeasures to protect your personally identifiable information. Also included will be a discussion of legal hacking (such as with Google Hacking) that enables access to PII residing on corporate websites.
Attendees will be able to: Explain the risks of having personally identifiable information hacked using both legal and illegal methods and how to implement countermeasures to minimize such risks.
