Staff Internal Auditor - US

The Staff Internal Auditor will:
Assist in auditing, documenting, and tracking as well as reporting on subsidiary and headquarters activities relating to compliance with Section 404 of the 2002 Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Help develop and execute test procedures to validate control design and operating effectiveness and will make recommendations and provide feedback to management on findings, focusing on strengthening internal controls, quality and efficiency. Perform periodic royalty audits. Works with management on special projects such as operational or compliance issues as needed.
What you will do
- Help develop and execute test procedures to validate control design and operating effectiveness and make recommendations and provide feedback to management on findings, focusing on strengthening internal controls, quality and efficiency
- Document controls and escalate issues/changes to controls observed
- Document process and control reviews for 404 compliance
- Facilitate discussions with external auditors throughout the year
- Observe physical inventories
- Meet with management to discuss findings, provide suggestions on opportunities for efficiencies
- Perform operational, compliance audits as required
- Facilitate royalty audits performed on external partners
- Work with management on special projects such as operational or compliance issues as needed.
- Assist external audit firm with substantive testing at year end
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
Experience Qualifications
- 2+ Years experience preferred
Training and Skills
- CA, CPA, or CIA preferred
