Program Description:
We will discuss best practices during workplace investigations, and Catherine will discuss colorful war stories from investigations conducted during her legal career s well as touch on case law arising from workplace investigations.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Catherine Q. Morse has served as General Counsel and Senior Director of Public Affairs at one of the largest national semiconductor facilities. She has managed internal legal staff and outside counsel as well as the company's relationships with trade associations, lobbyists, and public relations firms. She has guided all aspects of the company's legal affairs, litigation, environmental and trade compliance matters, commercial transaction, immigration issues, employment law concerns, real estate transactions and preparation of corporate documents. She advises clients in matters related to state legislative committees, Austin City Council, the Travis County Commissioners Court, and other governing bodies. Ms. Morse is experienced in managing media relations and crisis communications.
Ms. Morse received her JD from the University of Houston Law Center and her B.A. in Criminal Justice from Louisiana State University. She is licensed to practice in Texas.

Cancellation Policy and No Shows
If you have registered and/or paid for an event and you need to cancel, you MUST email info@austinacfe.com no later than 5 days prior to the event, unless otherwise indicated in specific event policies, to request a refund and/or cancel your registration. The Chapter must confirm event registrations with the venue within 5 days of the event and any changes after this time period can become a financial cost to the Chapter. Cancellations received less than 5 days prior to events will not be refunded except for exigent circumstances.
In the event an attendee does not show up to the event, the registration cost will be forfeited. If payment at the door was the selected method, then the attendee will be billed for the full cost of the event. The Chapter reserves the right to bar for future registration any attendees who routinely register and fail to pay and/or attend the event.
